		<description>It depends. Sometimes you can&#039;t recover and you have to start over again. This time, I could recover, and also, the piece that I&#039;m working on isn&#039;t meant to be anything special. There are lots of things I would do differently if this were something more important and I were using expensive wood. I&#039;m not even using any kind of halfway serious drawing right now.

It&#039;s also always better to make a mistake than to be too frightened to make anything at all.</description>

Good thinking here. Since mistakes happen all the time (in my case, typically after cutting the first joint well, I become a bit high spirited and then careless), it is probably more important to recover from the mistakes.
